Cement rotary kiln or rotary cement kiln belongs to building material equipment and it is also one kind of lime kilns. Cement rotary kiln mainly consists of cylinder, transmission device, prop, gear wheel support device, kiln liner, kiln seals, kiln and fuel device parts. Meanwhile, cement rotary kiln as one of the complete equipment for cement plant is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, construction, refractory materials, and sanitation industry.
Apart from the calcination of cement clinker, cement kiln is also used to calcine clay and limestone and dry slag. During the production of refractory, rotary kiln is used in the calcination of raw materials to make its dimension stable and strength increased. In the ore beneficiation process, the rotary kiln depletes iron ore to transform it from weak magnetic ore to a strong magnetic facilitate. Producing soda, calcined phosphate, barium sulphide depending on rotary kiln in the chemical industry has low energy consumption and electricity consumption, because it uses low-grade phosphate rock instead of sulfuric acid.
The cement rotary kiln has stable structure, smooth operation and high-quality products. The body of rotary kiln is supported by supporting wheels which form a oblique with the horizon. The block device is used to control the kiln from traversing up and down. Besides the main transferring equipment, the auxiliary gear is also set to keep the cylinder rotating when the power source is cut off to avoid the deformation of the rotary kiln. The sealing equipment of kiln head and kiln tail takes advanced technology, which guarantees the reliability of the seal.
